Day 9: 12th June. Dresden. Melnik. Prague.

We travelled today from Berlin to Dresden for a lunchtime shoot.
This "Florence on the Elbe" is aptly named. Many of Dresden's lovely Baroque buildings have been restored to their former glory, despite the Allied "carpet bombing" of this city during the Second World War.
You can't keep a great city down for long.

The countryside in the Czech Republic beckoned at every corner, to be captured in lovely landscape shots as these.
Wild poppies dot the green fields and the Bohemian landscape in the northwest.

The sun sets over a misty field of vineyards in Melnik. This little town just north of Prague certainly deserves a day or two all to itself.

This amazing landscape was captured just as the dusk swept away the final bits of the sunlight for the night.

Arrival in Prague.
